Under direct supervision of the Pharmacy Operations Manager, the Patient Access Supervisor is responsible for oversight of the Patient Access Specialists. They will monitor their teams' activity for quality and productivity, analyze call metrics and data to then produce agent feedback. The Supervisor will be is tasked with interviewing and hiring new candidates, along with disciplining and terminating employees if necessary. The supervisor will assist the manager with reviewing and implementing departmental protocol changes. Demonstrates competency and appropriate usage of Avaya Call Management System (CMS).
Education:
Requires the completion of a Bachelors' degree in Health Services Management, communication, education or the applied behavioral sciences or 8 years of related inpatient or outpatient pharmacy experience.
Required Licensure, Certification, etc.:
Registration with the Maryland Board of Pharmacy preferred.
Work Experience:
Minimum of two years related experience in health services management preferred.
