Summary:
Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff operating with regard to Revenue Cycle functions within Patient Financial Services. Ensure efficient and proper processes for the billing, collections, cash application, and customer service functions throughout the revenue cycle. Collaborate with the Director of Revenue Cycle to implement management plans.
Responsibilities:
Supervise & coordinate staff activities including work allocation and problem resolution. Motivate employees to achieve peak productivity and performance.
Provide staff supervision to include hiring, performance reviews, counseling, disciplinary action, and oversee educational development.
Approve transactions including ability-to-pay allowances and discounts.
Maintain liaisons with administrative and support personnel to resolve problems concerning the verification of information and registration.
Assist in the preparation of reports and analyses, set forth progress and adverse trends and make recommendations or conclusions.
Ensure resource management is in line with departmental needs based on expanded hours of operation and physical location of workplace.
Plan and conduct meetings to ensure compliance with established practices, implement new policies and keep employees informed of current changes and standards.
Provide department-specific training and/or assist in the delivery of training curriculum.
Ensure the highest quality and timely delivery of services and customer service standards of excellence.
Requirements:
Five years of experience, preferably in Healthcare/Hospital Reimbursement/Finance Dept.
Bachelor's Degree, preference for Business, Finance, Health Administration or related area of study
PC literacy, MS Excel and Outlook
Must be customer-service oriented
Preference given to applicants with National Association of Healthcare Mgmt. (NAHAM) certification
Location: The Summit, 100 Reserve Rd., Danbury, CT / Hybrid
FIRST 90 DAYS FULL TIME IN OFFICE; HYBRID AFTER PROBATION & TRAINING ARE COMPLETE
Work Type: Full-Time / 40 Hr.
Work Shift: M-F, 8am-4:30pm - W & Th. in office

$28.00 - $48.00 Hourly
