Pediatric Physical Therapist Role Description
We are excited to be seeking a Pediatric Physical Therapist to join our growing team at Pediatric Physical & Occupational Therapy of Hudson Valley, PLLC! In the spirit of trying to help as many children as possible, we have recently moved into our new, state-of-the-art pediatric therapy and sensory gym in centrally located Nanuet, New York.

Responsibilities:
- Full time salaried position
- Perform initial evaluations and recommend treatment as required
- Develop treatments plans and goals in line with each child’s needs
- Document child’s progress each visit and periodic progress notes as required
- Engage and educate parents or caregiver in follow up activities for home
Skills:
- Licensed to practice Physical Therapy in New York State
- Experience with pediatric physical therapy (birth through adolescence)
- Compassion and enthusiasm to help children reach their goals
- Collaborative, professional presence with both adults, children, and office staff
- Experience ranging from new graduates to decades in the field
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and facilitate the movement of children and equipment
- Knowledge and experience with evaluation tools
Compensation:
- Salary range $75,000 to $110,000 per year, depending on experience
- Paid vacation, holidays, and sick days
