Liberty Homecare is hiring for Personal Care Assistants! We are currently seeking compassionate and reliable personal care assistants (PCA) to serve as part of our growing homecare team. In this role, you will work with our clients in their homes, helping them with basic personal hygiene and domestic tasks according to their care plan and needs.

We are looking for caregivers that are open for part-time or full-time hours.

We currently have a hiring need for Saturdays 4pm-9pm and Mondays 3pm-6pm in Wethersfield CT.

We require staff to have a license and vehicle.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Personal Care Assistant:

• Provide safe personal care to individuals
• Understand and assist with daily living needs
• Encourage independence at home
• Knowledge of medical supplies/equipment
• Knowledge of safe transferring
• Medication Reminder
• Meal Preparation Assistance/Feeding
• Transportation for errands and appointments
• Light housekeeping
• Incident reporting and client condition change reporting/communication
• Engage in socialization

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to pass a criminal multi-state background check
• Minimum of 1 year experience working in homecare - knowledge of transferring, dressing, bathing, changing individuals
• Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle and current auto insurance required
• Ability to complete/pass required PCA Quiz/Training
