Hours: Monday - Friday / 8AM - 5PM

Looking for a reliable female caregiver for a 28-year-old female who has Spina Bifida and is wheelchair bound. She is a sweet young lady and loves to get out and do things and not be stuck inside all day.

This is a permanent placement opportunity that is paid through a 3rd party state agency. The employeer would need someone in the home from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Mon - Fri with an opportunity to work some overtime if desired. The client needs assistance with food prep, transfers to/from tub and daily living activities such as, making bed, laundry, tiding room.

This position's compensation is paid through TennCare (Choices). The selected candidate will have to apply through Consumer Direction (online) and the process takes approx. 2 weeks from start to finish. Consumer Direction handles the background check and gets selected employee into their system. You will need to be CPR & First Aid certified by a TN approved orginization. The client also has means in which help to cover transportation costs when taken out to run errands or do fun activities.

The position pays between $15.00 - $17.00/hr., based on experience, and the program will handle your tax deductions.

The ideal candidate should have reliable transportation, be free of drug use, honest, dependable, punctual, patient, compassionate.

• Must be honest, trushtworthy, caring, punctual, patient and reliable

The family travels for the holiday's - taking a week off at Thanksgiving and two weeks' off for Christmas as well as one week in the summer. Unfortunately, those days would be unpaid but does allow an opportunity for the caregiver to spend time with their loved ones.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• No nights

• Mount Juliet, TN: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Caregiving: 1 year (Preferred)
