The Phoenix Center for Rehab & Pediatrics is a skilled nursing facility located in Haskell, NJ caring for both the Pediatric and Geriatric populations. We are looking for devoted and caring Physical Therapists to join our team!

The Physical Therapist’s overall responsibility is to manage the care of the patient/resident and manage the quality of all related outcomes. The therapist participates as an integral part of the interdisciplinary team, manages resources to meet the needs of the patient/resident and related customers balancing outcomes and cost effective and efficient treatment.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, screen, and treat patients mainly in geriatric setting but will also be cross trained in pediatric setting
• Provide physical therapy and related services for patients while maintaining positive levels of interaction with patients/residents in accordance with the principles and practices of physical therapy and within Phoenix Center guidelines.
• Provide quality patient care including ongoing treatment per a plan on care, supervision of rehab techs (where required), and case management responsibilities.
• Maintain professional conduct that represents Phoenix Center’s commitment to quality and service in all interactions with patients, family members, colleagues.
• Adhere to all State and Federal regulations pertaining to Physical therapy.

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree in physical therapy accepted by the designated professional accrediting
• Actively licensed as a Physical Therapist or a Physical Therapy Assistant in NJ
• Pediatric experience a plus but not required
• Occasional weekend and holiday rotation required
• Foreign trained therapists must meet the education standards as defined by the state licensing board in the state they practice in
• New grads welcome (experience a plus)
