This is a skilled position involving servicing and maintaining heavy construction equipment and mechanical equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, rock trucks, rock drills, graders and other equipment by performing the following duties:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Performs inspections on equipment to diagnose defects.

• Fuel equipment multiple times daily.

• Oils and Lubricates equipment multiple times daily.

• Completes scheduled maintenance on equipment daily.

• Assists Diesel Technician’s with equipment repairs.

• Completes accurate paperwork daily.

PM technicians must have strong background performing preventative maintenance on heavy equipment and have tools required to perform the work. A “B” Class CDL license with HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements is preferred but not required when initially hired for the PM technician position.
