Background: We are located in the Carmel Valley/Del Mar area and are a ministry of Grace Point Church. We accept children ages 2-6. We offer the following PAID time off:

Labor Day, Veteran's Day, 1 week at Thanksgiving, 2 weeks for Christmas-New Year's, MLKJr., President's Day (2 days), 1 full week in April for spring break, Memorial Day-26 days in total.

School Hours:

7:30am-5:30pm

Job Duties:

*We currently have the following positions:

1. M-F 8:00a-4:00p (37.5 hours/week & benefits eligible)

2. M-F 8:00a-5:00p (40 hours/week & benefits eligible)

These are year round positions-we remain open during summer months.

Position Descriptions:

These positions will teach either in a preschool classroom (3 year olds or 4 year olds) or a TK classroom (5 years old or turns 5 by 12/31) with up to 12 children. Children in one of our 3 year old classrooms sometimes need some assistance using the restroom and/or nap in a pull-up. Our TK classroom holds up to 22 children and you will work with another teacher.

Age groups in our preschool classrooms will sometimes fluctuate each school year to meet the needs of the children who have been enrolled for that year. We try to offer each teacher their preferred age category each year, but some flexibility may be required.

You will be responsible for developing a daily schedule, planning curriculum activities, communicating with parents via email and/or Class Dojo or similar app as needed. Part of your daily activities will need to include a daily bible lesson (story passage, video, craft, etc.) that is age appropriate for your group of students.

Requirements:

· A minimum of 12 early childhood education units (child/human growth & dev, child/family/community, program/curriculum, other-infant, school age, etc.)

· Knowledge of title 22 CCL regulations

· Fingerprint clearance or the ability to obtain ASAP

· CPR/First Aid Certified or the ability to obtain ASAP

Job Type: Monday-Friday FT 40hrs/week

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 DOE
