Truck Cleaning & Detailing Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and reliable truck cleaning and detailer to join our team. You must know how to operate a high-pressure pneumatic tools, compressor as well as a pressure washing system. When working with the equipment, you must ensure the water supply is sufficient for the job and follow all industry standards and safety regulations.

It will be your job to perform a variety of truck cleaning services primarily to the exteriors of our customers’ vehicles. Your duties will include performing truck inspections, chemical washing, removal of buildup from exterior. In addition, you will also be tasked with vacuuming and deodorizing the interiors of cabs and more. Our ideal candidate has industry experience, can work independently, and is willing to drive to different job site locations. To do well in this position, you will need to be physically capable of performing manual labor while standing for the majority of your shifts. You should also have excellent customer service skills and the ability to do quality work with minimal supervision.

Truck Cleaning and Detailing Duties and Responsibilities

• Check the equipment to make sure you have an adequate water supply and that it is working properly
• Perform inspections to ensure that each step of the cleaning process has been completed
• Operate pressure washer machinery to clean surfaces with proper chemicals

• Inspect the surface area after the washing to ensure it is clear of buildup on trucks.
• Clear the job site and store all hoses and equipment correctly
• Follow all safety protocols to prevent damage or injury
• Assist us in the management of inventory and reordering of supplies
• Perform other administrative tasks as requested by supervisors.

Job Qualifications and Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Clean Driving Record
• Ability to safety store and park company vehicle and equipment
• Work independently with little supervision
• At least one year of industry experience with high-pressure equipment preferred
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• Willingness to work a variety of shifts based on staffing needs
• Ability to provide exceptional customer service
• Willingness to comply with all company procedures and policies
• Ability to use a variety of chemical cleaning products and tools
• Able to stand extended periods and lift at least 35 pounds

Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
