Principal Content Manager - Historical Pricing Job at FactSet Research Systems
Locations: New York City, Norwalk, CT, Austin, Boston, Chicago, San Francisco, Remote US.
Role Description:
As the Principal Content Manager of Historical Pricing, you will direct expertise and development across products and content sets to address client workflows. You will influence cross-departmental research, development collaboration, and strategy for specific products and content sets. Additionally, you will be responsible for the execution of the quarterly operational plan as well as identifying key metrics and methods of reporting. You may also take on team management responsibility as needed and as appropriate. As the Principal Content Manager of Historical Pricing, you will report directly to the Director of Content within the Global Market Data organization.
Responsibilities:

Maintain and develop the quality and functionality of the main historical pricing databases, which provide market data for the Workstation and web products, as well as the premier exchange pricing feeds of FactSet Prices and FactSet Global Prices.

Partner with Engineering teams and other internal teams involved to deliver product roadmap and drive feature implementation.

Oversee a variety of historical databases other than the primary database, including short interest, cryptocurrencies, fixed income curve databases, and more.

Manage maintenance and development of data quality processes and products for end of day and historical pricing sets.

Perform analysis and support data delivery methods of end of day and historical pricing sets.

Engage with stakeholders to understand needed parameters for commercialization of data, establishing road map and key milestones.

Translate product vision and roadmap into well-defined product requirements/user stories and user acceptance test criteria.

Build strong relationships with other integrated product lines, leadership, and business stakeholders.

Partner with our customers, to better understand their problems/challenges and work together to deliver required solutions.

Communicate issues and status reports to leadership and/or stakeholders; work to establish consensus, resolve issues, and execute on product timelines.
Required Skills:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field of study.

10+ years of experience working in a relevant field, preferably within market data and exchanges.

Proven leadership for a larger product suite and/or content sets.

Demonstrated understanding of overall company strategy and ability to lead Product/ Content development.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

The budgeted salary range for this position in the states of Connecticut, California, Colorado, and in New York City is $120,000 - $170,000
