We are hiring a Green Hydrogen Subject Matter Expert for our Hydrogen Group to join our dynamic and diverse team and be central to our growth strategy.
The candidate will provide specialist consulting advice to clients. They will have in-depth engineering experience with green hydrogen. The ideal candidate will also have experience with syngas technologies, reforming, and blue hydrogen.
Qualifications
- Consulting project execution
- The role will require support of a wide range of services including feasibility studies including:
- Investment assessment
- Master-planning
- Strategy development
- Business case configuration
- Analysis
- Technical due diligence.
- Providing input and details on scope, execution, and schedule for Green Hydrogen Study Proposals.
- Support of Green Hydrogen sales opportunities – demonstrating expertise while developing options and work approach for clients.
- Training other consultants to execute Green Hydrogen projects.
- Serve as the technical lead for opportunities in green hydrogen-related studies. This will include studies that require concept development, investment case development, technology selection, technology comparison, process configuration, and/or cost-estimate and financial analysis.
- Contribute to and lead proposal preparation for Green Hydrogen studies.
- Serve as a specialist for Green Hydrogen across Advisian and the wider Worley.
- Represent Advisian on Green Hydrogen initiatives across the Worley Group.
- Active role in marketing and business development activities for Green Hydrogen opportunities.
- Participation in growth strategy development in the Hydrogen Market.
Requirements:
- Participation in growth strategy development in the Hydrogen Market.
- Chemical Engineering degree or equivalent
- 15+ years of relevant process engineering and/or operations experience
- 10+ years of relevant experience with Green Hydrogen.
- Experience and knowledge of Green Hydrogen technologies and the integration with supporting unit operations (compression, storage) and utilities (water, power, etc)
- Experience with yield, opex and capex estimation for Green Hydrogen.
- Experience with the following is a significant bonus to this position:
- Syngas generation and cleanup,
- Reforming (ATR and SMR),
- Blue-hydrogen
- Carbon-capture
- Process modelling knowledge using Aspen/HYSYS.
- Experience with PetroSim, PetroPlan UniSim, HTRI, and PROII are a plus.
The candidates must demonstrate competency and experience in the following:
- Able to work within a ‘sell-do’ model.
- Strong self-starter and motivated to succeed.
- Practical consulting experience including scoping, selling and delivery.
- Communication skills including ability to produce concise reports and presentations.
