Process Improvement Lead - Full Time - Days - Midtown
As a Process Improvement Lead, you will be responsible for engineering analytics that will adequately prepare and model data to drive practice optimization focused on the care provided to patients. You will guide the participation of the NewYork-Presbyterian Medical Group in the implementation of Front Door to Care Contact Center Operations by collaborating and facilitating with department leadership to identify opportunities for improvement. Work closely with QM Specialists and QM Analysts to develop and coordinate performance improvement collaborative programs using outcome data related to medical management and PI. Developing interdepartmental relationships and analytical skills are key to the being successful in the position. This is a full-time, day shift position based out of our corporate office in Midtown Manhattan.
Preferred Criteria
- Master's degree in a related field
- Six Sigma Certification
- Proven track record of leading major projects to successful completion: on-time completion, financial benefits realized, sustained change over multiple years
- Experience using Microsoft Power BI for data visualization
Required Criteria
- Bachelor’s degree in related field
- PMP certification at hire or obtained within 6 months of hire
- Lean certification at hire or obtained within 9 months of hire R
- At least 3-5 years of healthcare experience in practice operations, financial/revenue cycle, and general consulting at a hospital or healthcare network and subsequent medical group
- Demonstrated ability to integrate qualitative and quantitative information to efficiently and effectively evaluate processes, and develop opportunities for improvement based on findings
- Demonstrated ability to identify project objectives, integrate multiple activities/resources and facilitate group activity towards organizational objectives.
