Position Summary:
The Procure to Pay Manager owns the Procure to Pay (PTP) processes across the company with the goal of ensuring that all proposed changes are in fact vetted and will not adversely affect a given process. This position is the main authority, and designer for the end-to-end PTP processes including changes to existing processes and plans for any new processes. The Procure to Pay Manager will use their domain expertise in the agreement space and for influencing stakeholders across the company. This position understands the opportunities and challenges of different approaches, and the needs of systems and internal customers to coordinate change.
Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:
- Oversee the end to end Procure to Pay processes in conjunction with all departments involved in the processes
- Develop strategies around Vendor Master Data and PTP processes
- Oversee of the Supplier Lifecycle Management process
- Coordinate with stakeholders across the Purchasing space to develop and refine the policies and processes and/or drive operational improvements i.e., Travel and Expense Cards and Procurement Cards to maximize the company’s value
- Measure and report out on policy compliance/operational success/savings and gaps to drive efficient and effective processes
- Prioritize process and project roadmaps as well as provide a point of view on business needs for system implementation
- Drive simplification, optimization, and standardize all processes as well as eliminate duplication of efforts
- Partner with service delivery teams and IT to assess performance of current systems and recommend improvement and change opportunities
- Oversee the company’s purchasing policy, monitor compliance to policy and drive initiatives to change both internal and supplier behavior
- Coordinate Supplier/Vendor Management in the ERPs and Ariba Administration
- Main point of contact for vendors and suppliers
- Support Ariba Administration needs including Catalogs, Vendor Transition to Ariba, etc.
- Coordinate with IT on all systems and supplier changes
- Execute PTP Project Governance from new vendor set up to payment processing
- Oversee process compliance and controls including any requests for changes to the process in addition to driving value to improve usage of process compliance and controls
- Other projects or duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business/Finance, 6 plus years of experience in reengineering business processes and designs in the Order to Cash environment and 3 plus years of people leadership experience or HS Diploma/GED, 9 plus years of experience in reengineering business processes and designs in the Order to Cash environment and 4 plus years of people leadership experience
- 2 plus years of Ariba experience i.e., Stop Loss Payment (SLP), Catalogs, Contract Management, Sourcing modules
- Strong Lean and Continuous Improvement skills
- Strong project management skills
- Excellent communications skills – verbal and written at all levels of the organization
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Experience working in an SAP-based environment
- Travel up to 10%
- This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test.
