Procurement Analyst II
Position Summary:
Under the guidance of the Director of Procurement, the Procurement Analyst II will be responsible for ensuring data integrity within the scope of the Maintenance Repair and Operations “MRO” group. Contribute to the design and standardization of data collection, processing, reporting, and analysis for end to end procurement and Fleet management, including vendor on-boarding, contract bid, quality, invoice and post invoice adjustments.
Collaborate closely with other teams, including Fleet Managers, Finance, Accounting, and Operations. Create and maintain relationships with vendors within the assigned commodity, as well as seek alternatives to align the company in a favorable position, leveraging price, availability and overall value offered by vendors. This position will also benchmark pricing against best-in-class industrial trends using ERP tools, procurement processes and policies aimed at minimizing risk, and maximizing profitability for the company. This role will also be involved in the month-end closing process and inventory reconciliation.
Essential Job Functions:
- Build actionable reporting to measure results of initiatives
- Identify opportunities and manage performance against those opportunities
- Execute on opportunities for high-impact analysis and develop recommendations
- Strategically plan and participate in service contract negotiations
- Ensure that all requisitions have appropriate approvals prior to creating purchase orders
- Verify that all account coding is accurate on all purchase orders created
- Resolve any and all issues that arise within the procurement process and maintain open lines of communication with the fleet managers, finance and accounting teams
- Create various reports as required
- Ensure that all contracts adhere to approved agreements
- Any other duties as requested by manager
- Support and monitor all Procurement activities for adherence to policy and Procedures
- Promote and encourage mutual respect and team work
- Analyze comparable vendor options
- Maintain and manage vehicle compliance requirements including citations and registrations
- Actively participate in regularly scheduled meetings

Required Qualifications:
- 3 to 5 years’ experience working in an analytics role within a procurement environment
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Strong negotiation skills
- Strong analytical and interpretive skills.
- PC literate.
- Analytical and interpretive skills through Excel data analysis
- Ability to communicate effectively, professionally and clearly, both orally and in writing
- Ability to interface and work effectively with all staff levels
- Time management skills, organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
- Dossier vehicle maintenance experience to include inventory management
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Travel to other sites as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Bachelor’s Degree in business administration or any other related field
- Good reporting and analytical skills, including weekly reporting on costs and inventory integrity
- Advanced Excel skills
- Data mining skills
- Dossier Fleet Maintenance system
