Our Produce department is looking for a detail oriented, hard-working individual to help maintain the quality, sanitation and safety of all produce items. The ideal candidate has excellent customer service skills and a commitment to quality.
START SHIFT: 4 am End shift: anywhere between 8am-noon
MUST BE AVAILABLE TO COME AT 4AM
Responsibilities:
- Greet shoppers when they enter the store.
- Remain at the checkout counter to assist customers when necessary.
- Take inventory of seasonal produce to ensure that there is always fresh produce available for sale.
- Use a cash register and computerized system to record cash transactions with customers, authorized refunds, and exchanges.
- Give clear directions on how many items are in each bag of produce.
- Knowledge of food preparation methods.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $12.50 - $14.00 per hour
