American manufacturing will always be a pillar of our brand and we proudly build all our suppressors in Millcreek, Utah. Our team of enthusiastic and knowledgeable professionals is looking for a Product Line Manager to become an integral part of our operations.

The Product Line Manager Role:

We are currently seeking an in-house Product Line Manager, located in the Salt Lake City area, who is responsible for developing and implementing our Product Portfolio to drive growth for the HUXWRX Safety Company. As the product expert, the Product Line Manager (PLM) will understand the competitive landscape and be capable of translating consumer needs into a cohesive, compelling, and profitable product assortment that inspires both professionals and shooting sport enthusiasts.

The PLM is responsible for all non-suppression product development aspects from the initial idea phase to commercialization for the product on a global basis. They will also oversee the commercialization of the suppression portfolio after the development team has proof of concept. This role will change day-to-day due to the planning details of our growing product assortment while working directly with R&D, Sourcing, Consumer Marketing, and our four key sales verticals.

Specific Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:

• Know the market and analyze market trends and consumer behavior to support product development direction
• Provide insight to develop a cohesive accessory line with a unique and brand aligned point of view
• Develop a technical understanding of the product’s key properties, performance/usability, and the commercialization aspects of bringing our line to market
• Develop and maintain a three-year global product roadmap and planning documentation for product revisions and launches
• Develop a seasonal product plan that delivers against the category objectives for sales, gross margin, supply chain KPI’s and brand image
• Ensure that the creative direction and brand DNA is consistently reflected in the product and positioned appropriately with robust go-to-market brand strategies
• Develop and present product briefs and documentation to the design team through line development and prototype review to marketing handoff
• Take ownership of support and training tools by collaborating with the correct stakeholders within HUXWRX and its key advisors
• Help develop and refine our inhouse development cadence and manage effectively within the line plan day to day to support key timeline / decision points during development
• Effectively present the product plans and timelines to our markets and the sales organization, as well as with key customers around the world

What We're Looking For:

This role requires a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years of experience in product management and/or development as well as a passion for professional firearms use (service oriented) as well as recreational shooting sports. This requires a strong knowledge of weapons platforms, accessories, and weapons applications across our four sales verticals (Consumer, Law Enforcement, International Military and Law Enforcement, and Mission (US Domestic Military and Federal Law Enforcement).

Other Qualifications Include:

• Strong analytical ability with exceptional knowledge of budgeting, brand management, strategic planning, and business development
• Proven ability to understand consumers and markets and translate those needs into the product and business strategies
• Ability to understand the technical features, end use, and performance benefits of the product
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills; ability to communicate and work effectively across regions and cultures and strong ability to articulate a product vision and message
• Knowledge of relevant supply chains and suppliers is highly desired
• Knowledge of advanced and additive manufacturing techniques and trends (e.g., 3D printing and associated) is highly desired
• Ability to travel
