Halco Lighting Technologies, one of the fastest growing lighting products company in the US, is seeking an experienced Product Manager, to be based in Norcross, Georgia. Position responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Management of the product lifecycle for assigned categories utilizing a stagegate process
• Developing and maintain an in depth understanding of competitive landscape
• Collaborating with various stakeholders to develop product roadmap to include multi-generational products
• Determining potential supplier sources for assigned products and provide analysis and recommendations
• Negotiating costs with vendors in assigned categories to ensure maximum overall profitability
• Developing content and implement products specs, datasheets, brochures, press releases, website information, labels, installation manuals, training material and other documentation
• Monitor inventory levels of assigned products and provide input as to recommended inventory levels
• Lead training activities for assigned products for both customer and internal teams
• Monitor market pricing and provide price modification recommendations to Pricing Manager
• Ensure compliance with current legislation
• Participate in the development of marketing materials for assigned categories
• Providing sales support on technical issues
• Participate in industry associations and trade groups to further knowledge and understanding of the products and industry

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Engineering preferred; MBA a plus
• Minimum (3) years product management experience in commercial lighting required
• Proven project management skills
• Effective and persuasive communicator
• Ability to set and manage dynamic priorities according to business needs
• Self-starter, able to work with little direct supervision
• Must be able to travel up to 25% - domestic and/or internationally
