Production Assembler Job at Dekker Vacuum Technologies Inc
The Role
Assembles fabricated parts and components at floor stations according to required specifications.- Test and/or calibrate parts and mechanisms as required to meet tolerances and product specifications.
- Identify units that fail test/tolerance levels and repair as necessary.
- Maintain compliance to customer and quality standards.
- Follow established safety procedures and wear required safety equipment.
- Transport fabricated parts and assemblies as required.
- Complete required paperwork and documents.
- Perform accurate measurements in assembly process.
- Clean and maintain work area

What we expect of you?
High school diploma or equivalent- 1-2 years experience in assembly of fabricated and component parts and products.
- Mechanical ability/knowledge of assembly process.
- Ability to use appropriate hand and/or power tools.
- Knowledge of blueprints/assembly diagrams/other assembly instructions.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Forklift experience a plus.
- Able to accurately read and use appropriate measuring tools.
- Able to manually lift upto 50lbs and/or utilize power lifting equipment to assemble/transport assemblies as required.
