Summary:
Our client, an established manufacturing company in Stevensville, Maryland is hiring an Entry Level Production Assembler to manufacture and assemble various parts and electronics. The Entry Level Production Assembler position requires attention to detail, being mechanically inclined and some previous manufacturing experience or vocational/technical training. Earn while you learn the duties of a Level II Electro Mechanical Assembler as an opportunity to grow with the company.

**Our Client is only able to offer employment for this position to applicants from the following states: Maryland, Delaware, Pennsylvania, Virginia, New Jersey & North Carolina. We are not able to sponsor visas at this time**

Salary:
Assembler I - $17.00 per hour to start

Assembler II - $20.00 - $21.00 per hour to start

Job Type: Full-Time

Work Location: Stevensville, Maryland (25 minutes from Annapolis, Maryland and 35 minutes to Easton, Maryland)

What you will do as Assembler I:

• Assemble electronics and wire lamp housings according to product specifications
• Follow blueprints to put together electronic devices, tools and products using hand and power tools and other assembly equipment
• Basic machine wiring technique to include cutting, terminating, soldering and crimping wire
• Other duties as assigned

What you will do as Assembler II:
Includes all duties of Assembler I plus the duties below:

• Assemble electrical parts per instruction
• Fabrication and assembly of harnesses
• Low level testing, calibrations and associated documentation
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications you will need to succeed:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to stand for up to 8 hours and push, pull, carry and lift up to 30 lbs
• Ability to access heights (up to 15 feet), climbing ladders or using lifting equipment
• Basic knowledge of the use of hand tools, power tools, and electronic test equipment
• Willingness to take required training classes and learn the responsibilities of Electro Mechanical II
• Attention to detail and excellent manual dexterity
• 3-5 years pertinent experience or equivalent for Assembler II

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
