Job Title: Production Control Manager Status: Full-Time, Salary Exempt

Department: Production Control

Reports To: Vice President

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversees the production process to ensure delivery of high-quality products that meet customer’s needs.
• Ensures appropriate production rate to reduce delivery delays.
• Collaborates with the customer service and sales departments to identify and resolve quality concerns.
• Identifies any bottlenecks or delays in production; ensures necessary labor, materials, and other resources are available to relieve production bottlenecks and delays.
• Uses production planning and scheduling to limit materials shortages.
• Ensures production machinery complies with professional and safety standards.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Physical Tasks:

• Ability to regularly stand, walk, reach, stoop, push, pull, talk and hear
• Ability to lift/carry 25 pounds regularly and continuously during an 8 hour shift
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Must be able to access and navigate each department of the facility
• Other physical tasks as required

Work Environment/Environmental Conditions:

• Factory environment with noise and dust
• Hot conditions during the summer months
• Other environmental or work conditions that arise in the course of employment

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

• B.A or B.S degree is required
• 3 to 5 years of progressive experience in key roles at a manufacturing facility; automotive preferred
• Strong computer skills including the ability to use Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Strong hands-on user of MRP/ERP software systems and maintenance systems.
• Previous experience/strong understanding of budgeting/expense management with basic understanding of financial accounting practices.
• The ability to develop and execute plant manufacturing budgets.
• Experience/broad understanding of safety systems and implementation of safety rules and policies

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
