Position: Production Coordinator - 2nd shift

Reports To: Production Manager

Direct Reports: Production Department

Qualifications: Good written, verbal, organizational, interpersonal and leadership skills. Previous manufacturing and supervision experience is preferred. Must have adequate computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Programs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Accountable for making sure all equipment in his/her department is in safe running condition.
• All other duties as assigned. (Ex. Creating and Revising OP Standards.)
• Create and maintain a showcase operation by implementing 5S practices, visual factory concepts, lean and empowered workforce, and overall world-class operations
• Define, implement, and maintain the proper material flow throughout production
• Ensure safe operations.

• Identifies the schedule, tools, and supplies needed for proper equipment maintenance
• Implements manning plans that align with Production control expectations and builds a cross-training matrix that ensures uninterrupted production
• Must have a good understanding of manufacturing fundamentals and JIT principles, high manual dexterity and good visual acuity to work with parts.

• Supports all safety programs and rules
• The Seat Assembly Coordinator will oversee front-line employees ensure efficiency and quality in production operations
• Using production data, statistical analysis, and lean methodologies, develop and recommend methods to reduce costs, improve quality, increase output and reduce variability in manufacturing processes
• Will ensure daily control items align with the company business plan and key objectives/metrics.
• Will oversee all production flow through department.
