Job duties:

• Work with the scheduling department to plan, direct, and assign production employees to align job scheduling needs and production demands.
• Actively monitor production from the shop floor to prevent issues & delays
• Identify and manage performance issues and training needs to support the development of employees in efficiencies, quality, and safety.
• Tracking for various aspects of production (ie: efficiency, consistency, FPY, etc)
• Enforce and uphold company policies.
• Communicate with key internal and external stakeholders to provide excellent customer service.
• Conduct toolbox meetings on a frequent basis to inform employees of news, procedures, and standards to ensure consistency and on-floor communication.
• Coordinate with materials delivery to the shop floor to support daily production.
• Ensure the production space and building are clean and maintained.
• Open and close the shop each day.
• Perform other duties as reasonably assigned.
