Summary of Duties:
Under general supervision perform a variety of duties in support of Student Financial Services in order to meet the desired outcome of Enrollment Management as well as the strategic goals of the university and the department. Independently advise staff, students and their parents about educational loans. Assist in the maintenance of the policy and procedure manual. Monitor and advise process work follows and recommend areas of efficiency.
Required Qualifications:
- High school graduation or equivalent AND two years of experience in the program specialty OR equivalent education/experience.
- Two years of experience working in a customer services oriented work environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree and one (1) year of applicable financial aid experience.
- Experience working with diverse populations.
- Demonstrated skills in written and verbal communication, including experience with large group presentations.
- Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Demonstrated Customer Service Skills.
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to perform multiple tasks.
- Demonstrated knowledge of federal and state financial aid processes and programs.
- Experience with student services such as Financial Aid, Admissions, Student Accounts, Center for Advising and Career Development, Registrar, Housing and Dining.

Monthly Salary:
Range 38 | $3,096.00-$4,117.00 (Step A through M) | Successful candidates typically begin at the beginning of the salary range and receive scheduled salary increment increases in accordance with WAC 357-28 .
