Position Description:

Serco is excited to begin support to the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter Program Office. This contract provides program management support in support of the full acquisition life-cycle of the F-35 program, to include development, production, and sustainment.


Directorate of Acquisition and Integration (DA&I) in its role managing JPO functions as they relate to business operations, foreign compliance, process improvement, cost, requirements, and acquisition.

In this role, you will:

  • Our Government Property Manager enhances product workflow by analyzing and developing logistics plans that affect distribution and inventory.
  • Creates and reviews procedures for distribution and inventory management to maximize JPO satisfaction and minimize cost. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks.
  • May lead and direct the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Additional tasks and responsibilities may be assigned by the Directorate as necessary to manage Government property.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you must have:
  • The ability to provide onsite support at one of the following F-35 Joint Program Office (JPO) locations no less than 2-days per week, each week. Exact days in office at the JPO must be coordinated with F-35 customer and approved by your Serco manager. (Your onsite days in JPO office including adhoc meetings may increase to support the needs of the customer.)

  • Ten (10) years’ experience in program management, technical, or business analysis discipline, four (4) of which must include hands-on and relevant Government Property Management system and administration experience supporting major weapon systems and components development.
  • Master’s Degree in related field or discipline, or bachelor’s degree plus four years of program management/Government Property Management experience.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Federal Property Management Regulations to include item unique identification and valuation (IUID) and associated processes and requirements.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of reporting, reutilization, storage, and disposal of Government assets.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of industry or military property management best practices for the management of Government Property.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of DoD policy and documentation related management of military acquisition programs (as specified in the DoD 5000 series).
  • Demonstrated knowledge of DoD program acquisition for domestic and/or international military programs.
  • Must have an active secret DOD clearance
  • Up to 10% travel
