Program Manager
The Program Manager is responsible for overall program assessment, planning and integration of departmental programmatic initiatives. Provides effective management and administration of programs for Workforce Health & Safety at NYP. Responsibilities include development and management of WH&S programs and products, assessment of capacity to provide contracted WHS services, internal and external communications and marketing.
Preferred Criteria
- Master’s Degree in Marketing Business or Hospital Administration or any related fi eld
- Previous supervisory experience strongly preferred
- Knowledge of Healthcare administration
- Knowledge of Clinical policies and procedure
- Knowledge of Fiscal management systems and technique
- Knowledge of Human resources management practices, supervision and staff development
- Knowledge of Government regulations pertaining to hospital-based employee health programs
- Knowledge of Reimbursement techniques
- Knowledge of Medical terminology and coding techniques
- Experienced in the use of quality improvement techniques and tools
Required Criteria
- Bachelors degree
- Minimum of five years of related experience in the health care industry
- Excellent communication skills and interpersonal relations
- Knowledge of Exercising initiative, judgment, innovative thinking, problem solving, and decision making
- Knowledge of Developing and maintaining effective relationships with physicians, staff, hospital
- executives, clients, regulators, patients and the community
- Knowledge of Organizing work to achieve department goals
