The Project Controls Team delivers solutions to clients in the areas of Conceptual Estimating, Budget Development, Cost Planning, Feasibility Studies, Value Management, Economic Forecasting, Milestone Reports, Pre/Post Contract Auditing, Change Order Review/Reconciliation, BIM 5D Cost Modeling, LEED Cost Analysis, Life Cycle Costing, and more. We are currently looking for a Project Controls Coordinator in New York to join our growing Project Controls Team. The Project Controls Coordinator position supports the Project Controls Director and/or Project Controls Manager for tasks involving Budget & Estimating Management, Cost Control Management, Schedule Management, Project Accounting Management, and other Project Controls activities. The Project Controls Coordinator assists and supports the Project Controls group on the management of large or multiple medium-sized corporate real estate and commercial construction projects. The candidate must demonstrate strong time-management and organizational skills as well as a client-service mindset. This is a very client facing role where you will work closely with clients to continue to develop relationships and build new relationships. Responsibilities:

The Project Controls Coordinator responsibilities will include, but not be limited to the following:

  • Coordinate and expedite the execution of Project Controls processes.
  • Assist with the preparation and updating of Project Controls procedures manual.
  • Coordinate the assembly of information for requested reports.
  • Create and maintain requested tracking logs.
  • Attend meetings, facilitate screen sharing, generate agenda, and update action items and notes.
  • Support the project planning, design, execution, and turnover/close-out phases of projects.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Business Management or equivalent is highly preferred. A combination of education and work experience will also be considered in lieu of degree.
  • 1+ years' of Project Controls experience.
  • Computer proficiency and efficiency using Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat products, etc.
  • Strong work ethic, dedicated & dependable.
  • Desire and eagerness to learn.
  • Self-motivated and function effectively as a collaborative team member.
  • Highly detail-oriented.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality at all times.
  • Excellent time-management and organizational skills.
