The Project Coordinator will be responsible for supporting implementations for Avesis' new Medicaid/Medicare/Commercial Health Plan contracts. The candidate must be hard working, self-motivated and possess excellent communication and analytical skills with the ability to work in a team environment. The Project Coordinator will work alongside the Implementation Manager on all projects and interact with the Avesis internal department heads for all Medicaid/Medicare/Commercial Health Plan client implementations.

Essential functions:
- Development and maintenance of detailed implementation work plans which includes administrative tasks involved in all aspects of the project.
- Identifies, creates, and maintains implementation resources, schedules, work plans and status reports for the execution of all new Health Plan accounts.
- Schedule meetings, prepare and/or edit meeting minutes, agendas, presentations, and reports, distribution and follow-up where needed.
- Compile summary documents for all aspects of the implementation processes and departments
- Works with project team to understand and assist with tracking all work, tasks and project assignments.
- Process daily, weekly, and monthly reporting to ensure all schedules run smoothly and all jobs completed on time.
- Creates and maintains implementation project tasks and timelines in MS Project.
- Ability to provide administrative support to the implementation teams to ensure tasks are completed effectively within required timeframe;
- Ability to manage many activities and assignments and to recognize when prioritization may be needed and escalate appropriately.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. Required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Experience/Knowledge of Health Care Plans
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Proficient in all aspects of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically SharePoint and project management software
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to coordinate multiple tasks within the project with changing priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills at all levels within a Company
