POSITION SUMMARY
The Project Manager position is responsible for planning and overseeing various projects to ensure they are completed in a timely fashion, within scope, and within budget. The Project Manager will plan and designate project resources, prepare budgets, monitor progress, and keep stakeholders informed the entire way. This is all done within the confines of Adelante Healthcare’s goals and vision. The Project Manager will participate in a wide variety of projects, including construction, IT, operational, etc.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE
- Bachelor's degree in project management, healthcare management, business management, business, or a related field
- Five (5) to eight (8) years of project management or related experience
- Project Management Professional (PMP) and/or Lean Six Sigma certification preferred
- Strong familiarity with project management processes, methodologies, software, tools, and industry best practices
- Experience seeing projects through the full lifecycle
- Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline
- Experience in forecasting, budgeting and financial analysis combined with understanding of key performance indicators
- Strong attention to detail, analytical, time-management and planning skills
- Knowledge of process and quality improvement
- Proven ability to solve problems creatively
- Ability to work effectively with a wide variety of vendor, regulatory and administrative staff within the organization and in the community
- Ability to perform a variety of assignments requiring considerable exercise of independent judgment
- Experience with and ability to multitask and thrive under pressure. Must be flexible, energetic, and a self-starter
- Excellent communication, leadership, negotiation, presentation and writing skills
- Knowledge of computers and database/spreadsheet/word processing software
- Competency in working with people of various cultures
- Valid Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card issued by the Arizona Department of Public Safety for all specialty behavioral health locations or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment
- Evidence of valid Arizona driver’s license and current auto insurance
- Prioritization and multi-task skills are required
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
- Develop, manage and lead various projects
- Develop comprehensive project plans, scope, outcomes, and roles/responsibility matrices
- Manage communication, accountability and expectations of project stakeholders
- Manage project teams in delivering the projects
- Communicate and manage tasks and activities to a schedule with the team; and provide feedback to team members as appropriate
- Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner
- Prepare and track budget based on scope of work and resource requirements
- Develop and monitor project data, outcomes, and KPIs to measure project performance to identify areas for improvement
- Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables
- Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution
- Evaluate and analyze data, escalate issues, and exercise discretion and independent judgment in advising management and in determining appropriate next steps
- Accurately assess the risks associated with each project
- Develop transparent communication and progress tracking for each project with all project stakeholders
- Communicate effectively in both verbal (i.e., day-to-day discussions, team meetings) and written (requirements and design specifications) form and have an overall ability to be clear and concise in communication
- Effectively manage multiple priorities
- Recommend and develop departmental policies and procedures
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
