About this Position:

Honda Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) serves as an industry, company, and community leader. Honda CSR division creates shared value by inspiring and supporting the dreams of our communities and strengthening social acceptance for Honda. This position is responsible for managing a portfolio of projects across the United States.


Responsibilities include:

  • Lead strategic Honda-branded programs such as Honda Battle of the Bands and Honda All Star Challenge by defining, planning, implementing, and tracking and executing deliverables. Deliverables include, but not limited to: HBCU band showcase with 6 marching bands including live performances, live-stream content, half-time show, pre-performance events and dinners; HBCU quiz live and live-stream content with engagement with Honda and Honda facilities.
  • Manages and meets with vendor(s) and project teams regularly to monitor deliverables & budget targets and lead quality assurance.
  • Identifies and creates avenues for cross-functional Honda business unit engagement and drives activities to promote shared value between Honda and community. Collaborates across roles, initiatives, and departments to fulfill project goals.
  • Lead and work independently to Identify and implement growth opportunities or identify gaps for project goals and targets. Implement and manage change when necessary to meet project deliverables.
  • Make decisions in real-time decisions on identified gaps and develop counter measures. Present to internal Senior Management and external stakeholders on progress as well as identified gaps and counter measures.
  • Provide leadership and content on project communication internally and externally. Serve as the Honda spokesperson for media activity related to the projects.
  • Lead the execution and completion of national external Inclusion & Diversity benchmark surveys and acquire data to filter, analyze results and present findings and counter measures to company Executives.
  • This position can be located in Alabama, California, Georgia, or Ohio (near a Honda Operations Center).

Who we are seeking:

Required Work Experience:

  • 5 - 10 years of experience in project management
  • Ability to represent company in professional manner and strong public speaking skills
  • Excellent organizational and project planning skills with attention to detail
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with vendor relationships and budget management

Required Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience

Desired skills:

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Teams
