We are looking for a Project Manager to support Aon’s US Health leadership team and strategic planning initiatives.

What you will do in this role
- Support the US Health leadership team with the development of strategic projects and programs.
- Align strategic initiatives to execution priorities.
- Consult executives on project organization approach and methodology to ensure project frameworks are fit for purpose.
- Lead planning and execution for strategic initiatives and coordinates efforts across multiple business partners.
- Prepares success metrics and status monitoring mechanisms to ensure results are achieved.
- Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques in order to keep the project plan accurate, updated, reflective of authorized project changes as defined in the change management plan, and facilitate customer acceptance.
- Manage execution of the tasks as defined in the project plan in order to achieve the project goals.
- May be responsible for managing/ recording detailed stakeholder requirements, constraints, and assumptions with stakeholders in order to establish the project deliverables, using requirement-gathering techniques (e.g., planning sessions, brainstorming, focus groups) and the project charter.
- Document high-level risks, assumptions, and constraints using historical data and expert judgment in order to understand project limitations.
- Builds mutual trust and encourages respect and cooperation among team members.
- Champions best practices and adherence to project management. methodology, including waterfall, agile, and disciplined-agile techniques
Skills and experience that will lead to success
- Demonstrate and Educate as a Deep Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Project Management process and tools.
- Experience communicating effectively with high levels of management and direct client contact.
- Ability to create presentations and write business cases for senior leadership.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines leading multiple key business priorities.
- Project budgeting/costing expertise.
- Ability to solve very complex problems and deal with a variety of work situations.
- Proficiency with MS Office.
- Proficient in MS Project or other Project Management tooling.
- 6-10 years relevant experience
Education: Bachelor’s degree and/or or equivalent years of industry experience. Advanced degree desired but not required.
PMP certification or working toward a similar certification within 12 months.

The salary range for this position is $120,000 - $160,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.
This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon’s annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any [bonus] varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
