Job Title: Project Manager I (non-IT)

Location: Mettawa, IL 60045 (Hybrid)

Duration: 12 months contract

Job Description:

Excellent project management capabilities, strong communications skills, good analytical and conceptual abilities, self-starter initiative, ability to prioritize while multi-tasking and team orientation are fundamental to success in this role.
Project Manager – This role wears many hats, but will focus primarily on day-to-day operations and provide elevated support to our Sales Teams, Marketing and Vendor partners in the planning, management, and execution of Speaker Programs. It will also be responsible for driving innovations in Speaker Program technologies and Process improvements through end-to-end Project management and cross-functional collaboration efforts with both Internal/External teams.

Responsibilities:

• Expert knowledge and understanding of Speaker Program Operations and Processes
• Support and Assist Sales Teams through various escalation channels with inquiries, training and any other general levels of service needed.
• Managing External Vendor relationships
• Identify various unmet needs and process improvements through to implementation.
• Manage variously scaled Projects from inception, discovery, pull-through and deployment.
• Work with internal cross-functional teams and external vendor to ensure integration and consistency.
• Understanding of other functional areas and impact of relevant decision-making
• Consistently manage multiple priorities to deliver high-quality results in a timely fashion.
• Develop and execute high-impact communications and training as needed for new initiatives.
• Provide in-depth insights through ad hoc analysis as requested

Experience:

• 5+ years of similar work experience preferred

Skills:

• Working knowledge of basic system software: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, planning, and organizational skills
• Effective interpersonal relationship building and influencing skills
• Ability to work cross-functionally in a collaborative manner

Education:

• Bachelor ’s degree
