The role would require taking ownership of the prototype SMT line (stencil printer, PnP systems, vapor phase reflow, cleaning and inspection (x-ray and visual).

In addition to the process role, there would be a leadership role, which would entail managing the work coming through the lab, assigning and providing technical support to 2-3 assembly technicians.

Other Responsibilities:

Coordinates planning, organization, control, integration and completion of engineering projects within area of assigned responsibility. Plans and formulates engineering program; reviews product design for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, customer contract requirements, and related specifications. Evaluates and approves design changes, specification and drawing releases. Coordinates activities concerned with technical developments, scheduling, and resolving engineering design and test problems.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience on SMT line.
  • Understanding of production processes.
  • Works well with others in a lab environment.
  • GI300 certified or knowledge of ESD practices and procedures.
Desired Skills:
Subject matter expert for Design Agent programs completed in the EPL lab transitioning from Baltimore to Moorestown is highly sought. BOC/Typhon/VLS/ANVIL heritage program knowledge is a plus.

SMT, Cable Fabrication, PCB Assembly, Ability to Read Engineering Drawling and Schematics, Fiber Optics, Process Knowledge.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
