As an Indiana owned and operated property management company, we are seeking to hire local talent to join our growing team. Our family-owned business has been serving housing and commercial real estate needs since 1974.

Our Kokomo location is the premier student housing complex for IUK offering many amenities, conveniences, and luxury features for residents. We currently have part-time and full-time openings for a Property Leasing Associate.

A Day in the Life of a Property Leasing Associate

Leasing Associates provide a fun atmosphere and world class resident relations. Associates are the primary contact for residents and prospective residents. Associates provide sales and service to lease apartments, coordinate resident activities, and assist current residents as needed. While touring with future residents, you will be expected to close the deal by helping them find their perfect new home next to IUK. We firmly believe knowledge is power and we’ll provide you with exceptional training and support to allow you to achieve company goals.

We are looking to hire a Property Leasing Associate with strong interpersonal skills and desire to provide hospitality.

Associates are thoughtful toward others, have solid organizational talent, and don't shy away from a challenge to make any situation better. A successful Leasing Associate acts professionally and stays well-informed about what they are offering. They display a solution-oriented approach in order to match a client’s needs and build trust with our company. Top candidates will be accomplished networkers and savvy in social media.

Property Leasing Associate Responsibilities:

• Manage the prospecting & leasing process with potential and current residents.
• Respond to queries/leads, coordinate property tours, engage with follow-ups, and maintain a contact database.
• Market rental listings through websites, social media, and person to person contact.
• Coordinate rental applications and adhere to company compliance requirements.
• Prepare & submit new lease agreements for signature in person or online.
• Coordinate move-in processes to provide efficiency with hospitality and excitement.
• Be creative! Submit and plan marketing strategies to generate traffic.
• Assist in records retention to comply with regulatory and compliance-related matters.

Property Leasing Associate Requirements:

• 1-2 years of experience with guest services, hospitality, or sales.
• Basic understanding of federal, state, and local rental regulations and compliance.
• Solution-oriented thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
• Well-informed individual who displays sound judgment and attention to detail.
• Proven ability to work towards and meet targets.
• Flexible, able to re-prioritize tasks and multi-task as needed.
• Capable networker with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and sales or service software.

Normal office hours are Monday through Friday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. We are flexible around class schedules. Must be able to work some Saturdays by appointment or seasonal demand.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
