We are looking for a self-motivated, results-orientated individual to fill our Residential Maintenance Technician opportunity. This hands-on position will be responsible for maintaining the physical property including mechanical systems, structures (interior and exterior), and grounds.

The task at hand:

• Respond quickly and professionally to resident requests for maintenance repairs, troubleshooting the source of the problem and taking appropriate action to repair and/or restore service
• Complete work orders, properly record all work performed within the company guidelines.
• Maintains building - performs plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and other related maintenance activities
• Lead cost-effective capital improvement and special projects
• Mentor and train maintenance technicians to increase their overall knowledge base and skill-set
• Establish and manage vendor relationships for projects within budget parameters
• Collaborate with supervisors, peers and staff on projects as requested by supervisor and ownership

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 5+ years of experience in the trades, facilities, and/or residential building maintenance
• HVAC or EPA certification, preferred
• Carpentry skills needed
• Must provide own basic tools needed
• Ability to work independently or as a team to meet deadlines. A builder's mentality, know it as you built it
• Safety mindset with an eye for detail
• Availability for emergency situations at the property, including on-call rotation
• Ability to exert 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly, climb stairs, use ladders and work in varying weather conditions
• Pay based on experience

This position will be for Wisconsin Dells & Mauston properties (work-related driving expenses will be reimbursed or a vehicle will be provided)
