SIMFLO is currently seeking a dedicated and ambitious individual to join our team as a Shipping/Receiving Associate. This individual will be a key part of our team and will assist in receiving incoming freight and orders, crating orders prior to being shipped, maintaining inventory of goods, etc.

Job Duties:

• Receive incoming freight and compare contents to the packing list to ensure order is correct and is in good quality
• Assist with loading and unloading trucks as required by the department
• Assist with the distribution and shipping of merchandise while verifying the order is correct
• Maintain an organized inventory area and practice good housekeeping in any area you work in
• Safely handle tools and materials in the work area as needed
• Pull orders and load trucks when necessary
• Execute daily work instructions received from Supervisor in a timely manner
• Provide assistance to other departments as required
• Operate the forklift as needed by supervisors
• Adhere to company policies including safety and good housekeeping

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to, but not limited to, 50 pounds continuously throughout the day
• Ability to stand, walk, and maintain movement for up to 8 hours per day
• Able to kneel, bend and stoop to the ground as needed
• Able to reach over head as needed
• Able to push and/or pull items as needed
• Ability to climb stairs and ladders
• Ability to forcefully use a hammer or mallet as required by the assigned task

Qualifications:

• Previous experience working in a pump shop preferred

Work Environment:

Work is mainly done outdoors and in a warehouse type environment. Applicants must be able to work in an environment exposed to outside elements while being around loud noises and moving machinery. Proper PPE is required.
