Incumbents holding an associate degree in any field, including two (2) semesters of anatomy and physiology, are eligible for departmental advancement with options to receive on-the-job-training (OJT) and preparation for the Certified Tumor Registrar (CTR) examination and credentialing from the National Cancer Registrars Association (NCRA).

Job Summary:
Supports high-quality patient oncology research delivery via efficient, accurate health information entry, processing, and maintenance. Assists the Supervisor/Cancer Registry with detailed tasks. Reviews pathology reports and medical records reviews for state data collection. Supports the RN [Registered Nurse]/Improvement Advisor with the American College of Surgeon’s Commission on Cancer accreditation process and cancer conferences.

Required Education:
Minimum: High School Diploma or Equivalent; Preferred: AA/AS Degree
