Who we are looking for
The Application Development team is seeking a Senior QA test engineer with a thorough understanding of Listed and Over the Counter Derivatives including: Trade Intake, Position Processing, Accounting, Record Keeping, Cash Movement, Settlement, Pricing and Reporting for these Products. Candidate must have extensive experience with Agile Methodologies using RTC, Jira, xRay, and corresponding Agile processes. Candidate must have a thorough understanding of enterprise systems including: Gold Copy, GTM, ETD, PDX, MCH, FDR, RKS and MySS. Candidate must also have extensive experience with Trade Post, and Ledger post operating modles, as well as, Middle and Back office servicing models. Additionally, this position requires a deep understanding of Events, and Alerts processing on Kafka technology. Finally, the candidate must have a thorough understanding of automation in Selenium, Maven, Cucumber, GitHub Dev ops pipeline to add, create, update additional repeatable and reusable test automation scenarios in the UAT and BUAT environments.
This role is Occasional hybrid w/2 days in JAB office @ 1776 Heritage Drive.
What you will be responsible for
As Quality Assurance AVP you will
- Candidate must be comfortable to Collaborate in a fast paced AGILE environment working with Senior Product Owners, Developers, and Quality Assurance resources to Identify all test cases and regression test cases to be executed against Agile Groomed/developed Stories within the assigned iteration.
- Candidate must Document and execute all functional testing, regression testing and any upstream and downstream testing to be included in E2E tests.
- Identify all repeatable/Reusable test that can be included in automated testing and execution in UAT ad BUAT.
- Candidate must be detail oriented, understand the entire scope of testing and regression testing impacted by all functional changes, as well as, non functional changes related to Performance upgrades, vulnerability remediation, System upgrades, and User access/entitlement changes including but not limited to MFA.
- Candidate must complete all Agile Tollgate documentation and approval processes.
- Candidate must do cloud approvals for Code moves to UAT, BUAT and Production.
- Candidate must be available on release weekends to attend upto 3 conference calls to ensure all business user production testing is completed and or remediated on release weekends.

- Solid critical thinking, problem solving, and decision making skills are needed.
Education & Preferred Qualifications
- BS or Masters in Sofware Engineering
- 10 years of State Street QA experience
