Job Summary

The Bell & Evans Quality Assurance Team is committed to developing world class programs, processes, and people to support the Bell & Evans Brand and Mission. The QA Superintendent will work with cross-functional teams with the ability to grow with a private company while actively training to become a QA Manager.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Include the following: other duties may be assigned

• Responsible for taking an active role in the coaching and development of technicians and QA Supervisors by providing consistent feedback and guidance.
• Analyze data to ensure compliance to current standards and for continuous improvement opportunities.
• Plan, promote and organize training activities related to food safety and quality.
• Delegates tasks and sets deadlines for the FSQA Team to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Act as the subject matter expert while supporting cross-functional teams in process deviations, corrective actions and preventative measures, complaints and other food safety and quality metrics.
• Assists the Senior QA Manager in handling local, state, customer, third party and federal audits and inspections.
• Ensure product is produced in compliance with internal specifications, customer expectations and government regulations.
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with internal (Sanitation, Operations, Maintenance, Sales, Scheduling, etc.) and external business partners (USDA, Vendors, Customers, etc.).
• Professional development with the goal of assuming primary responsibility for program development, implementation, and verification of startup processes (Pre-operational Program, Organic Program).
• Manage several FSQA projects for business growth including HACCP and pre-requisite program advancement, implementation, initial validation, and verification.

Education and Experience (Due to the high volume of applicants, only those who meet the minimum qualifications will be selected for interviews):

• Bachelor’s degree or work experience in a leadership role, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 3 years leadership experience required.
• Ability to communicate to all levels of the organization.
• Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
