We are seeking a Quality Control Technician to work in our plant to support the manufacturing of our filtration products.

Responsibility: Perform any reasonable duties requested by management, plus the following specific duties.

Duties:

  • Maintain quality-related procedures and documentation to ensure all are current and available to personnel.
  • Manage calibration program.
  • Maintain production batch records.
  • Assist in engineering change requests (PCNs) for review, approval, and distribution of documents.
  • If needed, Perform and document incoming raw material inspections within required timeframes.
  • Coordinate vendor nonconformance.
  • Perform and document in-process and final quality inspections of finished goods within required timeframes and as needed.
  • Maintain records of all inspections.
  • Complete nonconforming product reports. Communicate any quality issues to appropriate personnel. Provide the data necessary to help properly disposition nonconforming material.
  • Prepare and issue certificates of conformance, certificates of analysis, and quality packets.
  • Perform internal audits to ensure quality system conforms to ISO 9001 standards.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area.
  • Understand and follow all safety procedures.
  • Participate in the Continuous Improvement Program
  • Must be willing to engage in and perform other responsibilities as directed by quality manager.
  • Must be willing to work flexible hours when needed.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Ability to read and understand drawings and specifications.
  • Ability to use various measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, thread gauges, durometer, etc.).
  • Ability to perform basic math functions.
  • Computer literate.
  • Willingness to receive any additional training required.
  • Able to learn the duties described above, as well as other jobs in the facility as required.
  • Able to lift up to 50lbs., on a minimal basis.
  • Manual dexterity.
  • Good eyesight required for most job duties.
  • Able to sit or stand for an entire shift.
  • Able to be flexible in work assignments within job description.
