In addition to our inspection and representation services, we offer Quality Engineering support to our customers for various assignments. We are currently seeking a Quality
Engineer on contract to fill a three-six month assignment in the location of Muskegon
Michigan with some remote work also.

Assignment responsibilities will include:

• Provide a complete Level 3 PPAP Submission
• Engineering Change Documents – If applicable
• Understanding of Design Failure Modes effect Analysis (DFMEA)
• Create and update Process Flow Diagrams (PFD)
• Create and update Process Failure Modes Effects Analysis (PFMEA)
• Create and update Control Plans
• Facilitate and document Measurement Systems Analysis (MSA) / Gage R&R
• Support Dimensional Layouts
• Review Testing Results
• Support Initial Process Capability & Initial Process Studies
• Support and document Appearance Approval Reports (AAR)
• Document and Label PPAP Samples & Master Samples for the Customer
• Provide Checking Aid instructions and documentation (fixture, gage, template, etc.)
• Verify Records of Compliance – if applicable
• Create and update Part Submission Warrant (PSW)
• Support and document Environmental (MSDS & IMDS)
• Complete and document a Level 3 PPAP Package for customer approval
• Providing documented recommendations for process improvements

Candidate Requirements:

• Experience compiling PPAPS for the automotive industry suppliers and OEM’s
• Have a strong understanding of quality processed, procedures, and quality standards AIAG, ISO 9001:2015, IATF 16949:2016,
• Understand and read Customer Design Records (Blueprints)
• Be self-directed and adhere to strict timelines
• Have strong verbal and written abilities
• Effectively work with various teams within an organization
• Provide demonstrated success in the responsibilities listed above

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $31.40 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Muskegon, MI 49442: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• PPAP: 5 years (Preferred)
