Job Title: Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer

The quality assurance (QA) engineer plays a key role in ensuring the quality of products to meet specifications and customer expectations. He/ She must be trained and has the knowledge and skills to implement the ISO 9001 quality management system and ensure documentations and quality control practice to meet the interpretation of the latest quality management system.

Job description

• Plan / manage the overall quality planning strategies and create work instructions, process control and inspection forms.
• Monitor manufacturing processes through product and process audits, perform activities related to scrap reduction and productivity improvement.
• Respond to customer’s quality concerns with root cause and corrective action (RCCA) plans and follow-up with progress and results.
• Develop and prepare PPAP documents for successful launches of new products.
• Support shop floor production and identify quality issues and countermeasures.
• Report quality data and statistical analysis on a daily or weekly basis.
• Work with production, engineering and maintenance departments in Kaizen activities.
• Other tasks as deemed necessary.

Key Requirements:

• Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management system
• Background in production and quality control
• Knowledge of Lean Kaizen and Six Sigma
• Skillful in Microsoft Office, especially Excel,Word and Powerpoint
• To be able to interpret mechanical drawings and GD & T

Other:

The successful candidate must be self-motivated and team- oriented. College degree is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
