Quality Technician Job at Manpower
Our client in Wixom, MI is looking for Quality Technicians who would be Conduct testing on all client fastening systems for building and industrial fasteners customers and sales support.

What will you be doing?
- Torque analysis using DEPRAG and Atlas Copco screwdriving systems.
- Tensile testing using tensiometer.
- Use Soildworks to design application test fixtures.
- Fastener inspection, using but not limited to digital calipers, microscope, hardness tester, pillar drill and hand drivers.
- Utilize metallurgical equipment to create and inspect fastener/application cross sections.
- Cutting, mounting, and polishing.
- Microscope inspection.
- Generate reports.
- Use equipment software and MS Office suite to create technical reports for submission to customers.
- Develop standard report formats to ensure consistent reporting.
- Work with the Quality Manager to ensure all equipment is calibrated.
Training
- Full on the job training will be given as many technologies are unique to our client.
- The ability to use a computer is expected but specific software training will be given.
What do you bring?
- Previous Quality Control Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering discipline (Preferred)
- Non bachelor educated individuals will be considered depending upon experience.
- Proficient in current computer software - Microsoft Office
