What you will do:

The quality technician will perform quality testing and analysis on products for new product launches, quality hold orders, customer returns, competitive analysis, or other items as needed. You will verify the products meet the applicable standards and specifications, assist in root cause analysis of failed products, and work as needed on other projects. This position will work with several departments including customer service, marketing, and procurement.

How you will do it:

1. Utilize technical documents, manuals, and other information to determine how the product should function.

2. You will have the ability to disassemble and reassemble various appliances, with or without drawings.

3. Comfortable with the use of hand tools and various test equipment including decibel meter, multimeter, screwdrivers, etc.

4. You have the ability to develop and maintain company inspection reports.

5. You will perform needed testing and submit reports of the results.

6. You will utilize company ERP system to plan needed activities to meet timeliness demands.

7. You will compile test reports to distribute to vested parties.

8. Ability to work in fast paced environment.

9. Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities.

Qualification:

1. High School Diploma or GED.

2. Previous experiences as a quality technician. Appliance testing preferred.

3. Organizational skills.

4. Great problem-solving and communication skills.

5. Ability to work alone with minimal supervision.

6. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
