Rockydale Quarries Corporation, is seeking an experienced Foreman for their Staunton, Virginia location. Headquartered in Roanoke, Virginia, Rockydale Quarries Corporation provides a wide variety of aggregates, agricultural lime, and bio-mix soils to serve the needs of many industries, including construction, agricultural, and residential. Since 1932, Rockydale Quarries has been serving Virginia and the Carolinas with quality, excellence, and value.

This position will be responsible for assisting with the daily supervision of quarry operations, working on continuous improvements, and providing assistance with the hiring, training, and development of employees. Responsibilities will also include enforcing site safety, company safety practices and policies, environmental compliance, in addition to ensuring employee policies and procedures, as set forth in the safety and employee handbooks, are followed.

A two-year degree and a minimum of one year experience in a related field is required. Mining Engineering or related degree preferred. Experience of 3-5 years in a related field may be considered in place of degree. Must have a solid background in supervision and in all aspects of safety and health regulations, including environmental and MSHA. Must possess or be able to obtain Virginia Foreman/CMA certifications.

Strong computer, organizational, communication, and leadership skills are required.
