Jerk. Jamaican Barbecue is hiring Full-time (Evening Shift) Restaurant Staff / FOH Crew members.

Shift times are 4pm-11pm.

Location: River West neighborhood of Chicago, IL 60642

Compensation: Starts at $15 per hour +Tips

Looking for Team Members that possess the following:

• Have Integrity and a Positive Attitude. We cannot stress this enough.
• Learn our Menu to be able to easily communicate to our guests
• Have a passion for the craft of barbecue and/or a passion for learning the craft
• Follow recipes exactly as they are taught for flavor consistency
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
• Care deeply about the quality of food and experience that you create
• Possess professionalism and courtesy for both co-workers and patrons
• Ok with background check
• Must have ability to comfortably lift up to 40lbs
• Washing dishes
• Be punctual and on time for our team

Applicant Requirements

• Ability to work in a fast pace environment
• High attention to detail and following procedure
• Illinois Food Handler’s certification
• Night and weekend availability
• At least 18 years of age

Bonus points

• ServSafe Managers Certification, Food Handlers Certification, Basset Certification
• Take-out/Delivery Expediting Experience (UberEats, DoorDash, Grubhub)
• Toast Point of Sale experience
• Smoker and Grill experience
• Has Front of House Experience
