Job Title: Radiology Technologist

JOB DESCRIPTION
This position is responsible for providing professional respiratory care through assessment, clinical judgement, treatment and instruction to any population group in need. The position is also responsible for providing certain cardiac and diagnostic procedures that will assist in providing quality care to the patient.
Education
- Degree/Diploma Obtained
- Registered Respiratory Therapist
- ACLS Provider
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support
- Holds a current national credential for Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) through the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)unless received credentials prior to year 2002, then is not required.
- Holds a current Tennessee Registered Respiratory Therapist license.
- Holds a current BLS card. ACLS, PALS and NRP are required unless a PRN employee and NRP is desired, but not required for initial hire.
Experience Required:
- Hospital experience with medical/surgical, pediatric, neonatal and critical care patients preferred. Supervisory experience preferred.
- Maintains Current Licensure/Certifications
- Attends Mandatory Meetings
- Attends at least 50% of unit meetings
- Reads 100% of meeting minutes not attended within 30 days
- Reads emails in a timely manner
- Completes HealthStream assignments on time
- Completes unit specific competencies in a timely manner
- Additional skills in ECG and other diagnostic procedures.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $58,000.00 - $61,000.00 per year
