Tychon LLC (Tychon.io) has an opportunity for a React.js Developer to support key areas of our server development lifecycle. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing user interface components using React.js concepts and workflows, React Hooks, Reducers, Babel, and Webpack. You will also be responsible for profiling and improving front-end performance and documentation.

To ensure success as a React.js Developer, you should have in-depth knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, Web Components, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a good understanding of progressive web applications. Ultimately, the candidate should be capable of designing and building modern user interface components. You should also have a solid grasp of functional programming and an understanding of the paradigm shift from class-based component design.

No travel is expected and option available to work from home. Open to 1099 candidates.

Must be a U.S. Citizen.

React.js Developer Responsibilities:

• Meeting with the development team to brainstorm user interface ideas.
• Reviewing application requirements and interface designs.
• Developing and implementing highly-responsive user interface components using React concepts.
• Writing application interface code with RESTful design principles.
• Troubleshooting and debugging web applications.
• Developing and implementing front-end architecture.
• Monitoring and improving front-end performance.
• Documenting application changes and design.

React.js Developer Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a React.js Developer and at least 1 year of exposure to functional components.

• In-depth knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS, HTML and front-end languages.
• Knowledge of Webpack, Babel, and Redux.
• Experience with user interface design.
• Solid understanding of testing frameworks including Mocha and Jest.
• Experience with browser-based debugging and performance testing.
• Hands on exposure to Web Component libraries such as Material or the likes.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills.
