Becoming a real estate agent is like starting your own business - you have to have an entrepreneurial spirit, a burning desire to succeed, and the ability to place yourself in the right environment.

Having a sphere of influence is not necessary, but you will need persistence and motivation to cold call leads and convert them into clients. With time and patience, you can convert strangers into clients and even become friends. You just have to overcome the fear of calling people you don't know.

Having prior sales experience is also not required, however, it is strongly preferred. If you understand the concept of sales but need a guide specifically for real estate, you could be a great fit for this brokerage.

At Peak Realty, we give you the tools to help you succeed. As a licensed agent, you will have access to a CRM with leads and various training materials. We have a Transaction Coordinator to help with all of the behind-the-scenes work for each contract. You will also have the flexibility of working from home or at our office.

Availability of a minimum of 30 hours during the week is strongly recommended. Being available to make phone calls to leads is important, especially when first starting out as an agent. If you don't have at least 30 hours to devote to real estate, it will be difficult to succeed.
