Our acupuncture clinic is looking for a take-charge receptionist and office assistant. Applicants should be those who love talking with people and are passionate about helping others through holistic medicine. This is an exciting opportunity for a person with a natural talent for marketing and sales to help an acupuncture clinic with a big mission.

The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, be proficient with computers, have strong organizational abilities and feel confident assisting with social media posts and email marketing. Experience with holistic business (acupuncturists, chiropractors, physical therapist, yoga studio, naturopathic doctors, massage therapists) or experience in a medical office setting is preferred.

Needs a minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service or healthcare. Candidates should be friendly, courteous and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:

  • Greet patients and visitors in a friendly manner.
  • Answer the phone in a professional manner.
  • Answer visitors questions about the facility and its services.
  • Handle the registration of new patients.
  • Process health insurance claims.
  • Bill patients after treatments.
  • Handle billing questions.
  • Clean exam rooms.
  • Restock exam rooms supplies.
  • Order inventory.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 4 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Evening shift
  • Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Santa Monica, CA 90404: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
