RECREATION PROGRAM COORDINATOR

The City of Marinette – REC Center is seeking a Recreation Program Coordinator to work at the Marinette Recreation Center. The Coordinator will administer and manage current recreational events and promotions, create and coordinate new recreational programs, intramural programs, and events to attract new participants to the Marinette REC Center. The Coordinator will provide leadership and supervision for part-time program staff and will assume highest priority on the safety and well-being of patrons. This position will also serve in an administrative and recreation role during normal hours throughout the year, while completing day-to-day operations and assisting with all other recreation programs/events held at the Recreation Center.

Qualifications: High school diploma; experience in community recreation, education, or related field, plus one-year experience of scheduling and supervising staff. CPR Certification preferred. Must possess and maintain a valid Wisconsin driver’s license and reside within six months of hire in the state of Wisconsin.

Pay Scale: $20.28 - $23.86/hr.
Full-Time, non-exempt position working 40hrs/week. Normal hours are 10:00am –6:30pm, Monday – Friday with occasional evening and weekends hours required.
